On the first day of Chinese New Year, I woke up near noon as I had slept late since I was hanging out with friends until late night and I slept at 4am .
After I had done my usual morning routine, my family and I headed to my grandmother house to had usual gathering, received many red packets from relatives and finally got to met my cousins since we were all busy with our own lives, deep memories flashed back at me as I was really close with them while we was all young children, we enjoyed each other company when it comes to playing, misses the old good times, I felt despondent while I was thinking of the past. Played majhong, poker card and many more until dawn sets. After I had dinner, headed to my friend house to play poker card and had gambled about 30 – 50 cents each round of blackjack. Played for a couple of hours, I was considered to be lucky that I did not lose nor win any money. As gathering and gambling with friends is not whether you win or lose money, its how much you enjoy to be with them and have fun. After it, went home and had plenty of rest.
On the Second day of Chinese New Year, I was at home for the whole day busy settling my piles of homework, since I was too tired to go out on that day. I managed to complete almost all of my homework and a sense of satisfaction.
On the Third day of Chinese New Year, my mother and I went to a relative house at Tampines, enjoyed the special variety show that had showed in Channel U during the afternoon, super hilarious. So at around 4pm , relative, mother and I headed to Ion Orchard to shop. I had become the tour guide of the day, by bringing them to the Daiso Shop that originates from Japan , the shop merchandise are all only two dollars. Busy shopped inside the Daiso for almost two and a half hours, spended thirty eight dollars. It was getting late, out stomach started growling for food, we went to the food opera food court in Ion Orchard and had patronised the Chinese “Dim Sum” restaurant, but it not only serves “Dim Sum”, it also served main dish which constitutes of rice, noodle and porridge. The ingredients they had used is the one of a kind and the freshest because we can taste it on our first bite of the food. After we had filled our stomach with mouth watering food, we each went our own way back home.
Shall Continue with my Last Day of My Chinese New Year Week In the Next Post.
Good attempt Kiat Soon!
