Busy-Packed And Exhausted Weekend!

Yesterday,
Me, Kent, Jian Min, Jia Hwee celebrated Sabina advanced birthday. We Met up at 12pm and after that we went to Downtown East and had Macdonald's for lunch. After consumed lunch, we went straight to our barbecue pit which is Pit Twelve. The rest of us except Sabina went to the nearest supermarket which was Fairprice (NTUC) to buy the essential and required equipment and beverages needed later. After we brought the stuff at the supermarket it was already around 4.30pm. We started to barbecue our food from 5pm slowly. Joked around with the rest especially Kent and Alan along when we barbecued the food. It was late in the night and the Birthday Girl sliced the cake and fed us. It was awesome, enjoyable but mentally and physically after the celebration had finished. Fun times are meant to flies fast. We waited for the taxi from 11.15pm at the Pasir Ris Interchange Area till 12.05am till a taxi came. All of us are super exhausted.
Reached home at 12.30am. Slept at 2am.

Today! Went to First Toa Payoh Secondary School and had collected my Edusave Scholarship Award. Was shocked when I saw the amount of the money stated on the cheque. Met up with Chee Hao and had a good conversation since he's also got the award. After that around 1pm, Met up with Jian Min, first destination was City Square Mall to study, since the foodcourt was too crowded.

We went to Clarke Quay Central Mall to brought sticky sweets and after brought the sweets.

I insisted to go in the Yamakawa Super the Japanese shop, I had intended to buy two packets of corn chips but when I was about the pay for the merchandise, I suddenly saw Shiroi Koibito biscuit, I took a second look as I thought my eyes were playing a prank on me. I straightly brought 2 box of it and costed me fifty-two dollars.

Went to National Library at Bugis to study. I studied Geography and Social Studies. Saw my working friend while passing by the level to seek for table. But to my dismay there were no vacant table. We went to the garden area at level 5 to study.

After studying went out to had mid lunch and early dinner at 4.45pm. Went back to Toa Payoh and continued studying till 10.30pm.

My Life Now As An O Lv Student

Life as an O Level has been miserable and tiring even thought its just the beginning of the year. Teacher were stressing and injecting that this year is O Level, u must work triple hard and also to put in three times effort as compared to N Level. I am really afraid and anxious that what If I couldn't make it for the results, It would be the end of the world for me. I had been studying my previous years content since the starting of the school so that I will not be too panic when the examination comes.

I wished that my result will be better than I expected because I wanted to enroll courses in Polytechnic which is very ubiquitous among the local and foreign students. I had working friends whom experienced the same thing as what I am experiencing now. He told me " Better start and prepare to study early, If not you will be in the same boat as me, as I studied last minute for the O Level and didn't get the result's that I wanted." and another friend told me " Its essential and important that you start studying now, If not you will regret as the pass by, I failed the O Level because I only studied after my Preliminary examination, I had regretted now, I encouraged you to start study now."

After hearing what my two friend had said, I am just going to take and heed for their advice, I do not want to end up taking the wrong path of my life. Whether I want to study or not, its just depends on myself not other people. I do not want to dissapoint my parents as they are forking out lots of money for my education and to raise me up. I want to study hard and smart in order to get into the course that I desired and after that get a good salary job to raise back my parent's. If not I am just an Imbecile child.

This year I will be hanging out lesser with my cliques and friends as then I can concentrate and focus more better In studies, exceptional is doing group studies with cliques and friends. I just hope that my result will bear fruit in times to come.

My Past Background

Now Is the Year Where I am going to sit for my O Lv. Time really files by when you are getting older and busier as the year passes by. Before I had even came to normal academic stream, I was a normal technical student whom didn't really liked the study when I were In Secondary 1, without much effort I still managed to pass the examination. Suddenly, I told myself that " Normal Technical its just not the environment to study well " and I told my family " I am going to study real hard and smart to pass my overall year for Sec 2 Normal Technical in order to promote myself to a better stream ". My Family said " Alright do your best and we will always be there to support and help you when you face any difficulties ".

I had changed completely into a brand new person since Secondary 2, I just mugged and mugged till the end of the year to achieved what I had desired at the start of the new year. With the help of my parents, teachers and some trusted friends, I managed to obtained a 77.6% for my overall year results. Joy of tears that I got a wonderful results and to accomplished my goal.

My Parent's and Teacher's told me " Great Job!!! Your hard work had definitely paid off as what the results shown and you are capable to promote to a better stream. "

When I were Enrolled into Secondary 2 Normal Academic Class, I were nervous and excited at the same time as am going to get to know a brand new bunch of classmates and friends. It was a struggle for me to get it a good results in the normal academic stream as I required to triple of efforts to obtained a 60%+ of overall score.

Now, the Year of 2011, I just want to say, I didn't regret coming into the Normal Academic Stream, I had cliques and I met lots of wonderful friends and teachers. I have longingly to fulfill my milestone thats it to take O Lv. But all of my teachers told me that It will be a super difficult year as the syllabus are demanding and tough. I believed my determination will stay strong just like the year when I desired to promote to a better Stream.

Polytechnic Open House Visit's

Yesterday Morning I Woke Up around 9am, had donuts from Donut Empire for my breakfast, the donuts was mouthwatering indeed! So wash up and prepared to left house at 10.45am as I meeting my classmates people at Toa Payoh red circle at 11am. Met Bathong, Kenny, Hazlan, Samantha exactly at 11am and Jhonson was super late as usual, we waited for him about an hour. Ridiculous indeed.

Took a direct bus which was 154 to Ngee Ann Polytechnic from Toa Payoh which took us about twenty-five minutes before reaching our destination. There's was a huge crowd of people walking towards the Polytechnic. Firstly, we saw their CCA's Booth at the main entrance, there was a huge variety of CCA to choose from. Secondly, we went in to the their exibition booth at their lecturer hall which showcase their Businesses and Accountancy, Engineering, Humanities, Flim and Media Studies, Health Sciences, InfoComm Technology and Life Sciences and Chemical Technology courses. What interested me were the Tourism and Resort Management, International Businesses and Hotel and Leisure Facilities Management course. Thirdly, after viewing all of the exhibit we went to collect our goodies bag which was amazing as there were many items in it. After collected the goodies bag, we went to the Makan Place which was the biggest campus eatery. So as I am a fan of Japanese Cuisine, I decided to queue up even thought there was a long queue. The food price were much more cheaper, I brought Tempura Don, Agedashi Tofu and Chawanmushi which cost me $6.20.

After we had our lunch, we continued exploring the campus area and we saw Rafi and Janessa. All of us took the shuttle bus which bring us around the campus. We went to the School Of Humanities to explore and try out different activities and we get to know more what to do in the particular course. So after finished exploring the School Of Humanities which was 4pm. Myself, Kenny, Hazlan and Bathong went to Singapore Polytechnic since It was nearby where the rest stayed to explore the School Of Engineering. We took a direct bus which was 74 to Singapore Polytechnic.

First thing we reached there to collect our goodies bag and simultaneously there was a Drum performance which caught our attention. They were very organised and coordinated in the timing of beating the drum.
While we walking to view their School Of Engineering Exhibit we saw the Rollerblading performace, their swift and quick motion was great where they navigate their walks through the cones. After viewing the Exhibit while walking back we saw there was the Wushu Performance, love the part especially when they used weapons to perform and the sparring. We asked for direction of where is the place to get information of the course since the Singapore Polytechnic were too big. We just took a quick look in it as there were too much of people in it. So at 5pm we left the Singapore Polytechnic and took Mrt.

The rest went their own ways and I headed down towards to Bugis as I need to go visit my Grandmother.
Upon reaching, relatives were in too. After a while, my Uncle drove us to the Great Eastern Center at Shenton Way to have our Dinner. I ordered the Fish and Chip's set which inclusive of Cream of Mushroom, Mango Cake, Ginger Bread, Coffee for only $9.80 at Han's restaurant. When I finished eating, I walked pass buildings along Shenton Way as I my friend asked me to go Takashimaya find him. Took bus and reached in twenty minutes. We chatted and helped him to find gifts to pass to the girl that he admired and liked. After settled the issue I went back home.

An exhausting and tiring day for me.

A Brand Year, Brand New Post.

It had been a tough and tiring in the year 2010 as I had been busy studying to prepare for my N Lv's exam.
Before I had sat for my N Lv's exam, my determination were to promote to Sec 5. Countless hours and hardwork of mine paid off but luckily thanks to all my great teachers and friends encouragement and help, the exam was much more easier than I expected as my hardwork had been a part of my success. I had achieved want I wanted for. I did not regret coming into Normal Academic Stream as I had met lots of wonderful and trusted friends.

After My N Lv's Exam , during my last year school vacation on October, I had started working at Takashimaya. My first job fair was the Hokkaido Fair. I was super nervous and worried when it came into my mind, I am afraid that I would not be able to do a good job as it also involve in collecting cash payment for the merchandise. Thankfully to the help of my supervisor and friends, I managed to have confidence in handling 1 of the booth myself, which is the cake booth. Everyday the sales were magnificent, customers flooded the area. The supervisor and boss were great, me and my friends (Colleagues ) got lots of free items from them. My first day were the best! Got complimented by my boss. The fair lasted for a week. During the last day of work of this fair was the best, me and my colleagues joked among ourself as the fair closed early during the last day. I had missed everyone during this fair, they are the best!

After my first fair, after a week on the 4th November, I had been called back to work back but now its at Harrods. I had met serveral familar faces and new faces at the HR Office when we being brief by our new supervisor. I had worked all the way till end December, met lots of new friends and supervisor along the way. I gained lots of working experience while working at Harrods. Luckily we had our supervisor whom had been patience to teach us what is required for us in terms of skills. Had lots of great and fun time working with people at Harrods, jokers of the jokers! We shared our difficulties experience among ourself.
I had gained lots of knowledge, friends and accumulated working experience during the 2 months.
Work Is Indeed tiring but was the best thing to kill my holiday time.

I am now currently in Sec 5. All I wish and grant for is to pass my this year O Lv with good colour's. As I do not want to end up in wasting all my efforts that what I had did for my last year N Lv. I know that this year is sure a tough and suffering one, as the standard of difference is wide. I had cousins and friends whom had experienced themselves too. So I am going to give it all I got! To attain my goals, my dream course is tourism as I love too travel around the world.
